The Numbers section of the Arkansas River is found in the upper reaches of the Arkansas Headwaters Recreation Area near Buena Vista and Colorado Springs. Rafting this highly technical section of whitewater is for those with excellent physical stamina and a desire for relentless Class IV-IV+ rapids. Because this section on the Arkansas River is steep, narrow, and rocky, decisive maneuvering and concentration are required. A delicious homemade lunch to eat beside the river is included. This full day Colorado rafting trip also includes the Narrows section of whitewater before ending at the Noah's Ark riverfront pavilion for a total of 24 miles. Check-in time is 8:00 am.

*There is an Arkansas Headwaters user fee of 5.25 % or $3.00 (whichever is greater) added to the price of all Arkansas River trips. There will be a 1.5% land and water access added to all activities.
