This Royal Gorge full day of rafting the more challenging section of the Arkansas River offers 17 exciting miles of whitewater rapids in the shadows of the 1000-foot walls of the Royal Gorge Canyon, located less than an hour west of Colorado Springs. A physically demanding Colorado rafting trip, the Royal Gorge full day requires our white water rafting guides and their paddle crews to work together to navigate Class IV-IV+ rapids such as Three Rocks, Spikebuck, Sunshine Falls, Sledgehammer, Wallslammer and more. Lunch is included on the river. Check-in time will vary depending on where your group is coming from. Typically we meet groups coming from Colorado Springs and Denver at Pinnacle Rock, the put-in location near Canon City. See map below or call for details. | Wonderful. *There is an Arkansas Headwaters user fee of 5.25 % or $3.00 (whichever is greater) added to the price of all Arkansas River trips. There will be a 1.5% land and water access added to all activities.
