Customizing Colorado Hiking and Backpacking Adventures to Meet your Needs!Noah's Ark offers a variety of options and packages to create the perfect wilderness hiking or backpacking experience for you and your group or family. Our wilderness backpacking trips are offered May - August with lengths from 3 - 6 days. These trips are perfect for scout troops, families and youth groups. We recommend combining your backpacking trip with other activities such as whitewater rafting, rock climbing or fishing.

Noah's Ark is strongly committed to wilderness education and the wilderness experience. We depend solely on the wilderness for our livelihood and want to instill a strong sense of environmental responsibility in each of our guests. Noah's Ark teaches practical skills, such as Leave No Trace, that equip individuals with the knowledge necessary for natural resource preservation and protection. We are committed to caring for the environment and feel that each person who journeys with us should be as well.Haven't been backpacking before or a little unsure of planning a trip? No worries, come with us and let us take care of it all! Noah's backpacking and adventure trips can vary from 1 to 8 Days in length. Our guides are trained in wilderness preservation and protection, Leave No Trace ethics and Advanced Wilderness First Aid and they will teach you all the skills you need. They will prepare three delicious meals a day for you as well as provide basic camping and backpacking equipment.

COLLEGIATE PEAKS WILDERNESS AREA
We operate our Colorado backpacking and camping trips using our permitted access to the popular Collegiate Peaks Wilderness Area. Boasting eight of the tallest peaks in the lower 48 states, lush mountain valleys, clear alpine streams, and over 105 miles of hiking trails spread across 166,938 acres of land, the Collegiate Peaks Wilderness Area is truly one of the most beautiful places in the country.
BUFFALO PEAKS WILDERNESS AREA
Noah's Ark also operates trips using permits for the Buffalo Peaks Wilderness Area, a Colorado region that gains its name from two high-domed peaks that are visible from miles around.
*Noah's Ark is permitted by the USFS to run trips in the Pike, San Isabel, and Gunnison National Forests.
