The Numbers section of the Arkansas River sits in the upper reaches of the Arkansas Headwaters Recreation Area near Buena Vista, Colorado. Rafting this highly technical section of whitewater is for those with excellent physical stamina and a desire for relentless Class IV-IV+ rapids.
This steep, narrow, and rocky section requires decisive maneuvering & concentration. Full Day Numbers trips (19 miles) include the Narrows section of whitewater before ending at Noah's Ark with a delicious riverside lunch.
