Low Water Announcement (Updated 7/27/18)
The Arkansas River provides some of the best rafting opportunities in Colorado as we continue to experience low water conditions this summer. In light of lower water conditions, we have adjusted our trips to give you the best possible experience on the river this summer. Here's what you can expect:
|Browns Canyon Half Day
Our Browns Canyon half day trip is currently being run through the lower section of Browns Canyon. This stretch is one of the only family-friendly and enjoyable low water rafting experiences in Colorado.
Included in the trip are the two most famous Class III rapids in Browns Canyon: Siedel's Suckhole and Twin Falls. Enjoy fun rapids, top-notch guides, and stunning mountain vistas while navigating through 5 miles and approximately 1.5-2 hours, on water, of the lower section of Browns Canyon.
Due to lower water, we will not be launching from our riverfront property, but we will be providing a shuttle to the put-in. Shuttle time from Noah's Ark to the put-in is approximately 30 minutes.
Browns Canyon Half DayRAPIDS RATING: III-III+ (II-III at low water) MIN. AGE: 6
|Browns Canyon Full Day
Full day trips are running the upper section of Browns Canyon, a 10 mile stretch with 7 Class II-III rapids. This trip is more conducive to those looking for a very active experience, with an on-the-water time of 4-5 hours, including a stop along the river for lunch. Lunch in Browns Canyon features delicious deli-style sandwiches, fruit, homemade breads, and fresh-baked sweets. After lunch, it's back to the river for more rafting!
Participants should expect to paddle more and be able to walk on uneven terrain while guides maneuver boats through tight areas during the trip.

|"This is the 10th year we've come, and even though we noticed the river was low, it didn't even matter because of how great our guides were."
"Thank you, thank you - we appreciate how intentional the guides were about making our trip fun despite the low water."
"This is the 6th year we've come and we don't come for the river, rocks, or mountains - we come for how the staff impacts our kids' lives. Keep doing what you are doing with the excellence you show!"
